On August 2, Chinese media outlet Sohu reported that Angelababy and her ex-husband Huang Xiaoming are facing intense conflict following their 2022 divorce — with tensions reportedly stemming from Huang Xiaoming’s current partner, Ye Ke, and their newborn daughter.
Sources reveal that Angelababy is infuriated by what she perceives as favoritism. Huang allegedly rented a luxury apartment for Ye Ke and their daughter, costing 280,000 RMB (over $38,000 USD) per month, and paid the rent in full for a year. Meanwhile, his annual spending on their son, Xiao Hai Mian, reportedly amounted to less than 250,000 RMB (about $34,000 USD), causing Angelababy to feel her child is being neglected.
Xiao Hai Mian, who has primarily lived with Huang and his family since the divorce, was allegedly going to be moved to live with Ye Ke. This prompted Angelababy to take back custody — going so far as to forbid Huang from seeing their son.
A source close to the situation claims, “Huang Xiaoming once lost 4 million RMB (around $580,000 USD) of Angelababy’s money in a failed financial investment. She never asked for it back and just hoped he would live well after the divorce. But now he’s crossed a line — trying to force their son to live with his new partner. That was the final straw.”
In retaliation, Huang Xiaoming reportedly emptied out their former marital home and put it up for rent at a bargain price — a property they once agreed would serve as Angelababy’s residence whenever she visited mainland China to see their child. The actor’s cold response has reportedly left Angelababy heartbroken. Despite media inquiries, neither Angelababy nor Huang Xiaoming have publicly addressed the ongoing conflict.
