Popular mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang made her official return to television, appearing as a guest on the July 30 episode of MBC’s Radio Star alongside Kim Yeon-ja, Jo Hye-ryeon, and Kim Soo-ji.
This marks her first TV appearance in a year, following her unexpected withdrawal from the show last year due to personal issues. Tzuyang expressed regret, saying, “I was actually scheduled to appear on Radio Star in June or July last year. But something happened, and I felt really sorry. I think this is my return to broadcasting after a year.”

Appearing emotional yet trying to stay composed, she joked, “I’m not getting choked up, I’m just really hungry,” and warmly acknowledged the support of her fellow guests.
In July 2023, Tzuyang was caught in a controversy when a YouTube exposé alleged she was blackmailed using details from her past relationship. It was later revealed that she had suffered emotional and physical abuse from her ex-boyfriend, including dating violence and illegal recordings. Tzuyang responded by releasing audio evidence, opening up about the trauma and confirming she had been a victim of exploitation.

She is currently pursuing legal action against several YouTubers involved in the blackmail case. During an appeals trial held on July 22, prosecutors requested a three-year prison sentence for YouTuber A for blackmail, and two and one-year sentences for YouTubers B and C for aiding and abetting.
Despite the past challenges, Tzuyang has since resumed her content creation and is actively rebuilding her career. Her fans have continued to show unwavering support, celebrating her resilience and honesty in overcoming adversity.
