XngHan (Seunghan) has officially launched his solo career with the release of his debut single “Waste No Time” on July 31 at 6 PM KST. This marks his first project under his self-founded artist label, XngHan&Xoul, signaling a bold new chapter for the artist.
Speaking on his debut, XngHan shared, “More than anything, I feel excitement. I love challenges, and XngHan&Xoul was born from the idea of showing fans something fresh and new. With this crew, we aim to keep exploring different possibilities.”
The debut single features two tracks that capture XngHan’s anticipation and determination as he embarks on a new beginning. The title track “Waste No Time” is an energetic electronic dance anthem driven by bright synths, bold bass, and an addictive melody.
The B-side, “Heavenly Blue,” blends chill house and trendy EDM pop influences with dreamy synth pads and tender vocals. Through this track, XngHan expresses longing and affection with emotional depth, portraying the visuals of youthful feelings. Notably, XngHan participated in choreographing and writing the lyrics for both tracks, showcasing his artistic range.
Describing the album as “a day in summer,” XngHan explained, “If you’re traveling, I recommend listening to ‘Waste No Time’ during a sunny drive and ‘Heavenly Blue’ as a relaxing closer to your day.”
The music video, shot entirely in Mongolia, uses vast open plains to symbolize the limitless possibilities of youth. It captures XngHan’s spirited journey with his crew, jumping across time and space while embracing the thrill of the unknown.
To celebrate his debut, XngHan hosted a showcase at the Shinhan Card SOL Pay Square Live Hall in Seoul on July 31. He is also slated to appear on major music shows including KBS 2TV’s Music Bank (Aug 1), MBC’s Show! Music Core (Aug 2), and SBS’s Inkigayo (Aug 3).
With “Waste No Time,” XngHan sets a promising tone for his solo path—bursting with passion, style, and a clear artistic vision.
