The beloved “Spider‑Man couple” Tom Holland (29) and Zendaya (28), who confirmed their engagement in early 2025, are not rushing to the altar—here’s why.
According to Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, wedding preparations have not even begun yet. In an interview with E! News on July 18, Roach shared:
“Zendaya is working on so many movies. She’s now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she’s away doing that. It’s so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time.”
When asked about her bridal look, Roach teased that Zendaya will be “a secret bride” , hinting at an intimate, private ceremony.
Roach also emphasized how genuinely devoted the couple is to each other:
“I’m really excited because I know that they really love each other and they have for a really long time. The fact that the world has been able to share in that love story, I think it’s really beautiful.”
Although he jokingly mentioned “resting up for 2026,” suggesting that could be when the wedding might happen, he affirmed that no official timeline has been set.
The couple’s engagement first drew public attention when Zendaya debuted her engagement ring at the 2025 Golden Globes. Tom Holland’s father, Dominic Holland, later disclosed that Tom proposed during the 2024 holiday season, and had asked Zendaya’s father, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, for his blessing beforehand.
Meanwhile, the pair remain fully focused on their careers. Zendaya is currently filming the next installment of Dune, as well as Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, while Tom Holland is set to return in Marvel’s Spider‑Man: Brand New Day —all slated for release in 2026.
