Actor Park Bo Gum shared a touching reunion with his former graduate school professor on national television, sparking warm reactions from fans.
On the July 25 episode of KBS 2TV’s music talk show The Seasons: Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile, jazz pianist Maria Kim, singer 10CM, Ha Hyun Sang and the group Baby DONT Cry appeared as guests. Among them, Maria Kim drew particular attention as she revealed she once taught Park Bo Gum during his graduate studies.
As she joined the stage, Park Bo Gum asked, “Do you remember me?” Maria Kim replied, “Of course I do. You made such a strong impression. The moment I saw you, I thought, ‘This student deserves an A+.’”
Embarrassed, Park Bo Gum waved his hands and said, “That could get me in trouble!” Maria Kim continued, “You did so well, got along with your classmates, and always brought something when I asked for homework. I had no doubt you deserved an A+.”
Park Bo Gum responded sincerely, “I truly enjoyed my classes during grad school. Thanks to that time, I fell even more in love with music, which led me to become the MC of ‘Cantabile’.”
The candid exchange offered a rare glimpse into Park Bo Gum’s academic life and further highlighted his sincere dedication to music and learning.
