On July 21, Im Soo-hyang debuted her channel with its first episode, marking the beginning of a new journey after more than a decade of contemplation.
The premiere video features the actress organizing her home, offering fans a glimpse into her private space, starting with her impressive wardrobe.
While sorting through her clothes, Im Soo-hyang revealed a red puffer jacket she wore during middle school. “This is from back when I was in middle school. It’s Bluemarine, and they don’t make this anymore,” she said. She then added with a laugh, “My family was rich back then. My mom used to buy me stuff like this all the time.”
The actress also took viewers on a ride in her supercar through the streets of Seochon in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
When asked about the car’s low mileage just 3,600km after over two years she confessed, “I don’t really have much reason to drive. This car feels really fast even with just a little acceleration, and the ride comfort isn’t great.” When pressed about why she bought the car, she replied honestly, “It was just for show—pure pretension,” prompting laughter from the crew.
Born in 1990, Im Soo-hyang is now 35 years old and made her acting debut in 2009 with the film 4th Period Mystery. She gained widespread popularity through various hit dramas including My ID is Gangnam Beauty, Graceful Family, When I Was the Most Beautiful, Woori the Virgin, Doctor Lawyer, and Kokdu: Season of Deity.
Her new YouTube venture is expected to showcase not only her life as a beloved actress but also her down-to-earth charm and everyday personality.
