Lee Do is a social studies instructor affiliated with an online and offline education platform company, known as a star lecturer for her unique concept of helping students raise their grades “from 0℃ to 100℃.” She gained recognition with titles like “the only Integrated Social Studies major from Seoul National University” and “the youngest CSAT instructor at Etoos.”
However, on June 23, Etoos announced on its official website that “due to the instructor’s health and personal scheduling issues, only a portion of the 2026 season lectures will be newly produced, while the rest of the curriculum will utilize existing content,” effectively announcing a partial suspension of Lee Do’s lectures. Etoos explained that the decision was made “after careful consideration to minimize disruptions to students’ learning experience” and asked for understanding.

Amid this, speculation began to surface regarding the timing of Lee Do’s lecture suspension, as the Netflix dating reality show Better Late Than Single—in which she appears—has recently seen a surge in popularity.
Some speculated that Lee Do paused his lectures to film the variety show, but according to the production team, filming had already wrapped up in September 2024, while the announcement of his lecture break was made in June 2025, making any connection between the two unfounded.

Better Late Than Single is a makeover reality show that follows inexperienced individuals as they learn about love for the first time. The program has recently entered Netflix’s Global Top 10 (Non-English TV category), gaining widespread popularity both in Korea and internationally. Lee Do, in particular, has won viewers over with her sincere tone and honest demeanor on the show.
