Lee Jun Young took to his personal social media channel to post: “Due to the noise at the venue, I misheard and made an unbelievable mistake. I sincerely apologize to senior Lee Joon Hyuk and his fans once again. Congratulations on your award.”
The mix-up occurred when Lee Joon Hyuk was announced as the recipient of the Popularity Award. However, Lee Jun Young mistakenly thought his own name had been called and went up on stage to accept the trophy.
