The King’s Affection beats “My Name” and “Hometown Chachacha” to becomes the top1 drama on Netflix Korea
KBS 2TV’s drama "The King’s Affection" topped Netflix rankings in eight countries around the world.
According to data released by Flixpatrol about Netflix’s worldwide streaming rankings on November 10th, “The King’s Affection” took the top spot in Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nigeria, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.
It also ranked eighth in the worldwide ranking, and topped the Korean TOP 10 content, beating JTBC drama “Inspector Koo,” Netflix original “My Name,” popular drama “Squid Game,” and tvN’s drama “Hometown Chachacha.”
“The King’s Affection” depicts a secret court romance that takes place in a story where the Crown Princess Consort gives birth to twins, one of whom is abandoned just because she is a girl, this girl later disguises as her brother and becomes a crown prince after her brother’s death. Actors Park Eun-bin, Rowoon, and Nam Yoon-soo are participating in this drama as main actors.
