According to SPOTV News on Oct 2nd, G-Dragon will be recording an episode of tvN’s variety show “You Quiz on the Block” (hereafter You Quiz) this afternoon.
This marks G-Dragon’s first-ever appearance on “You Quiz”. As he prepares for his solo comeback after seven years, G-Dragon is expected to candidly discuss his recent activities, emotions and experiences during his hiatus.
G-Dragon also shares a special connection with You Quiz’s MC Yoo Jae-suk. He has appeared several times on Yoo Jae-suk’s hit variety show “Infinite Challenge”, showcasing their ongoing bond.
Notably, G-Dragon participated in Infinite Challenge’s Music Festivals, including the 2011 West Coast Expressway Song Festival, the 2013 Freeway Song Festival and the 2015 Yeongdong Expressway Song Festival, collaborating with Park Myung-soo, Jung Hyung-don and Hwang Kwanghee to produce various hit songs like “I Cheated”.
He also showed his affection for “Infinite Challenge” by trying his hand at acting in the “Infinite Company” segment, directed by Jang Hang-jun and written by Kim Eun-hee.
By choosing “You Quiz” as his first variety show after deciding on his comeback, G-Dragon is expected to openly discuss not only BIGBANG and his persona as G-Dragon but also his personal life as Kwon Ji-yong, sparking much anticipation.
The “You Quiz” episode featuring G-Dragon will air in October. G-Dragon is currently preparing for his solo comeback after seven years.
