Forbes Korea recently dropped their analysis for the Top 10 most powerful K-pop artists on YouTube in Korea. 

A report from Forbes has revealed the most powerful K-pop artists on YouTube Korea in the year 20024, and below is the full ranking.

1. BLACKPINK – Revenue: 129.4 billion won (approx 98.4 million USD)

According to Forbes, BLACKPINK is a global girl group, the exceptional successor to Fifth Harmony, Destiny’s Child, and Spice Girls, and a global superstar. The magazine also asserts that BLACKPINK is the most powerful group on YouTube.

2. (G)I-DLE – Revenue: 86 billion won (approx 61.4 million USD)

This is a novelty for K-pop as (G)I-DLE only gained more popularity on this platform in recent years. Forbes suggests that (G)I-DLE has gone viral thanks to catchy songs and trendsetting Shorts (short videos on YouTube).

3. BTS – Revenue: 82.3 billion won (approx 61.4 million USD)

Critics recognize BTS’s strength on both of the world’s largest audio-visual platforms. The magazine also crowns BTS as the most powerful K-pop artist and the number one in South Korea’s music industry. Despite not having a comeback for two years, BTS still ranks in Forbes’ TOP 3 most powerful artists on YouTube.

4. NewJeans – Revenue: 68.3 billion won (approx 51 million USD)

Forbes notes that NewJeans is a fresh breath of air in K-pop, attracting significant attention through their YouTube videos. They are the youngest group on this list.

5. SEVENTEEN – Revenue: 62.4 billion won (approx 46.5 million USD)
