On the 28th, a new video titled “Same Age Friends are Just an Excuse” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘뜬뜬’. The guests included 1991-born Kim Go Eun, Lee Sang Yi, and SHINee’s Key, who engaged in a conversation with Yoo Jae Suk and Ji Suk Jin.
Kim Go Eun and Lee Sang Yi, who were classmates at Korea National University of Arts, are already well-acquainted. Kim Go Eun reminisced, “Sang Yi is a strong leader. He was the class representative and had many talents. He danced well, played the guitar excellently—it was on a higher level, not just the typical student level. It went something like ‘ba bam ba bam bam’.” Lee Sang Yi admitted, “I was a bit of a show-off,” and Kim Go Eun added, “He really danced well,” recreating Rain’s “Rainism” choreography.
In response, Lee Sang Yi said, “This girl (Kim Go Eun) was really popular. I can vouch for that. At a gathering before we entered school, Go Eun was wearing a red tracksuit. There was a lot of talk, like ‘Did you see the girl in the red tracksuit? She really stood out.’ That spread from our peers to the upperclassmen.”
Kim Go Eun, seemingly surprised, responded, “Really? Oh, wow,” and Lee Sang Yi revealed, “But you felt it too, didn’t you?”
SHINee’s Key, who was listening, chimed in, “If you’re a person, you’d know whether you’re popular or not,” making everyone laugh. Kim Go Eun, not strongly denying it, said, “But this is the first time I’m hearing about the red tracksuit story.”
