Previously on August 28, SM Entertainment published an official statement, revealing that Taeil has been removed from NCT due to him being investigated for a sex crime.
Ever since, various details about the case were reported, with accusations including the use of spy cam, blackmailing, and even murder threats, though nothing conclusive has been confirmed.
Images and footage of NCT which include Taeil are also gradually being removed, with his name being unlisted from NCT on SM’s official website.
However, it seems that SM is still selling goods of Taeil despite his sex crime scandal.
Particularly, on the SM Global website, fans can find goods showing Taeil’s image and even add these goods to cart, suggesting that these merchandise can be purchased.
Meanwhile, the option to buy Taeil’s goods has been removed on SM’s Korean store site, but his face can still be seen on some default images.
