On September 18th, Jung Hae-in posted a video on his Instagram story with a message, “Guerrilla stage greeting.. You don’t know when or where I will appear.”
In the video, Jung Hae-in made a surprise appearance at a movie theater where the ending credits of “Veteran 2″ were being shown and met with the audience. Jung Hae-in entered the theater under the guidance of officials while wearing a T-shirt with “Veteran 2” written on it and greeted the audience.
The audience welcomed Jung with cheers at his surprise appearance. After greeting the audience closely, he came down to the screen and joined the cast and production team for stage greetings.
“Veteran 2” is an action crime investigation movie that tells the story of the youngest detective Park Sun-woo (Jung Hae-in) joining the violent crime investigation unit of veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (Hwang Jung-min) to pursue a serial killer.
On the 18th, six days after its release, the movie’s cumulative audience exceeded 4,001,565 viewers, exceeding the break-even point (4 million).
In the movie, Jung Hae-in showed an impressive performance through the role of Park Sun-woo, a “sociopath” detective.
