Meanwhile, Columbia Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, is home to global pop stars like Beyoncé, Adele, and Harry Styles. The label plans to provide extensive support for Jennie’s solo activities.

This marks Jennie’s first solo release in about a year, following her special single “You & Me” in October of last year. Known for her versatility across various music genres, her solo comeback has garnered significant attention.

Last year, Jennie collaborated on “One Of The Girls” with The Weeknd and actress Lily-Rose Depp, which surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify. The track also stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 20 consecutive weeks. With this song, Jennie became the first Korean female solo artist to receive a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

In addition, Jennie’s music video for her solo track “SOLO” surpassed 1 billion views in April, making her the first K-pop female artist to achieve this milestone.
