On September 6, Gong Min-jung and Jang Jae-ho held an outdoor wedding ceremony at a cultural space in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
The ceremony, set amidst a blend of flowers and trees, created a cinematic atmosphere as the couple tied the knot. During the wedding, Jang Jae-ho proclaimed, “My bride, the most beautiful in the world,” and Gong Min-jung appeared in a simple yet elegant dress. The guests celebrated the couple’s future with a warm round of applause.
The private ceremony was attended by family and close colleagues. Among the attendees were Park Min-young, Lee Yi-kyung, Choi Gyu-ri, and Ha Do-kwon, who had appeared with the couple on the show ‘Marry My Husband’ (referred to as ‘Marry My Husband’). Ha Do-kwon, who had a subtle romantic storyline with Gong Min-jung in the drama, shared a photo of her entering the ceremony with a congratulatory message: “Congratulations on your marriage, Min-jung. Marriage is a beautiful beginning. Happiness sometimes involves falling and feeling pain, but it is maintained as a family.”
Park So-jin posted a photo of Gong Min-jung wiping her tears during the ceremony with a message: “Blessings to you.” Actor Yoon Byung-hee shared a photo of Jang Jae-ho, unable to hide his excitement, with the message: “Wishing you only happiness.”
In August, Gong Min-jung and Jang Jae-ho announced their marriage, revealing that they would hold a private small wedding in September with only family and close friends.
Gong Min-jung shared on her social media, “Before meeting in the drama ‘Marry My Husband,’ we first met as friends, and he made me laugh a lot and warmly embraced me with constant kindness. He is a precious person who made me believe that life is better together than alone, leading to this marriage.”
Jang Jae-ho also expressed his affection for Gong Min-jung, saying, “She is someone I admire both as a person and an actress, and she is more than I deserve.” He added, “I sincerely thank everyone who has cared for me, and I will repay you by living happily and well.”
