Both their title track “Crazy” and B-side “1-800-hot-n-fun” have garnered significant attention for their fresh and energetic sounds.
However, the group is now going viral for a different reason.
Clips surfaced online allegedly showing members Chaewon, Sakura and Yunjin at a club, which sparked a rumor that the location was a gay club. The viral videos captured their playful reactions to their song “Crazy (feat. PinkPantheress)” playing in the background. This led netizens to speculate that the club in question was LGBTQIA+-friendly.
In reality, Chaewon, Sakura and Yunjin were attending “Human Made After Party”, an event that also saw appearances from top idols like BLACKPINK’s Jennie. The members were spotted wearing the same outfits as seen in the viral clips, which provided context for the situation.
It’s unclear how the rumor originated, though some believe it started after posts circulated about LE SSERAFIM’s songs being played frequently in gay clubs. Additionally, netizens have described the track “Crazy” as having a “gay club music” vibe.
While the members may not have been at a gay club, they are known for being supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community.
