On August 30th, it was reported that Byun Woo-seok would appear as a cameo in “No Gain No Love”. This special appearance came about due to his connection with director Kim Jeong-sik. The two previously worked together on JTBC’s drama “Strong Girl Nam-soon” last year. A source shared that Byun Woo-seok gladly accepted the offer from director Kim Jeong-sik.
“No Gain No Love” tells the story of Son Hae-young (played by Shin Min-ah), a woman who got married because she didn’t want to lose money, and Kim Ji-wook (played by Kim Young-dae), a man who became her husband because he didn’t want to cause harm. The second episode, which aired on August 27th, achieved an average viewership rating of 4.3% in the Seoul metropolitan area, peaking at 5.2%, and an average of 3.8% nationwide, peaking at 4.5%, making it the top show in its time slot across comprehensive and cable channels.
Byun Woo-seok’s special appearance is expected to air in next week’s episodes of “No Gain No Love”. It was also reported that Kim Jung-eun, who participated in “Strong Girl Nam-soon”, would appear in “No Gain No Love” due to her connection with the director.
