Yoo Ah-in’s role change in “Hellbound 2” came about after he chose to step away from the project. Yoo Ah-in is currently on trial for habitual drug use, with the prosecution seeking a 4-year prison sentence during the 7th court session held last month.

While his actions have certainly caused social controversy, it’s undeniable that Yoo Ah-in was praised for his performances in each of his works, including his portrayal of Jeong Jin-soo in Netflix’s “Hellbound.” Consequently, Kim Sung-cheol’s casting has elicited mixed reactions.

Kim Sung-cheol’s role is crucial in this situation. Director Yeon Sang-ho of “Hellbound 2” expressed confidence in the casting, stating, “Everyone brought their best to their roles in the project. They are exceptional actors.”

In the Disney+ series “No Way Out”, released on the 31st of last month, Kim Sung-cheol added tension as a pivotal character.
