In a recent interview, Song Hye-kyo considers retirement and addresses vampire rumors, stating she simply wants to age gracefully and slowly, not through supernatural means.
She mentioned, “When I’m busy with work, I hardly meet friends, but now I have more leisure time for myself. I need time alone, so I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, cleaning the house, and taking care of my dog.”
Regarding the vampire rumors about Song Hye-kyo, she explained, “During shoots, the makeup and lighting make me look a certain way. Since my work involves being on camera, I try my best to manage and age as slowly as possible.”
She also mentioned her close friendship with fellow actress Suzy, saying, “Recently, I’ve become quite close with Suzy. She’s visited my home, and we’ve met at award ceremonies. When we get together, we chat and catch up.”
Additionally, reflecting on her career from debut to now, Song Hye-kyo said, “I started without knowing much and have worked really hard. I’d like to tell myself that I’ve done well.” Looking ahead 20 years, she added, “If I’m still working by then, I’d want to tell myself that it’s okay to rest a bit.”
