The Netflix live-action series based on the manga “One Piece” will soon exclusively stream Season 2. The cast for the role of Miss Wednesday, a member of the secret criminal organization Baroque Works, has now been revealed for this upcoming season.
The manga “One Piece”, serialized by Eiichiro Oda in “Weekly Shonen Jump,” is a globally renowned Japanese maritime adventure romance. It follows the epic journey of Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, as they set out across the vast ocean in search of the legendary treasure known as the “One Piece” left behind by the Pirate King Gol D. Roger. The Netflix live-action series created a global sensation with Season 1, entering the TOP 10 in 93 countries and reaching the TOP 1 in 46 countries.
For Season 2, characters such as Smoker, Tashigi, Crocus, members of the secret criminal organization Baroque Works, Dorry and Brogy, Wapol and Dalton, Dr. Kureha, Dr. Hiriluk, and Cobra, the King of Alabasta Kingdom, have been announced along with the new cast members portraying them. It has now been revealed that Charisla Chandran will play Miss Wednesday, a member of Baroque Works.
Charisla is known for her role as Edwina Sharma in Netflix’s popular series “Bridgerton”, set in 19th-century London high society, where noble siblings chase love and happiness. As Sharma, chosen as the most dazzling “diamond” of the social season, Charisla brought depth and strength to the character in a complex environment. Fans are eagerly anticipating how she will portray Miss Wednesday and the character’s fate.
