On August 22nd, Yulhee had a Q&A session with fans, sharing her thoughts and answering questions.
When one fan shared about her past relationship, “I broke up because my ex’s feelings for me were no longer the same. I had some lingering feelings and tried to hold on, but it didn’t work,” Yulhee advised, “Honestly, it’s such a waste of time. Let’s date someone who likes us.”
She continued, “Just keep improving yourself and doing your own thing. The right person will come along, and the wrong one won’t! Don’t forget that you’re the most important.”
She also expressed concern, saying, “Please! Don’t date someone who makes you suffer; find someone who makes you happy.”
Yulhee self-deprecatingly added, “But I’m not the right fit to give you relationship advice as it’s been so long since my last relationship. Can I really be of help? My self-confidence (in giving advice) is dropping. It’s hard. Being single is the best.”
Meanwhile, Yulhee married FTISLAND’s Choi Min-hwan in 2018 and has a son and twin daughters. However, Yulhee and Choi Min-hwan divorced last December after five years of marriage. Custody was granted to Choi Min-hwan, and Yulhee continues to see her children regularly.
