This will be Lisa’s first stage at the VMAs as a solo artist

Notably, this information was also posted on the official website and X (Twitter) page of Billboard (a U.S. magazine and website that produces news, videos, opinions, reviews, events, and style related to the music industry), further heightening the anticipation and excitement of BLACKPINK fans in general and Lisa’s fans in particular.
In addition, it is said that Lisa will perform alongside Rosalía—the Spanish artist with whom she recently collaborated on the song “New Woman.” Furthermore, the song “ROCKSTAR” is also expected to be performed live for the first time at the prestigious award show. In 2022, Lisa performed “Pink Venom” at the VMAs with BLACKPINK, but this time, her solo appearance on stage has sparked much curiosity.

Previously, just over a month after its release, “ROCKSTAR” earned Lisa four different nominations at the 2024 VMAs, including Best Choreography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, and Best Kpop. Lisa is also the female Kpop idol with the most nominations at this year’s awards.
At the 2022 VMAs, Lisa won the award for Best Kpop Music Video with her debut solo song “LALISA.”
