Shocked by Riku’s answer, the fan asked back, “Real girlfriend?”. Riku replied, “Yes”. The fan commented, “You already have a lot”, and Riku said, “No no, I don’t have any girlfriend”.
The fans laughed and said, “Okay, I understand”. Then Riku asked, “So can you write your phone number for me?”. The video ended after the fan asked Riku again, “You want me to write my phone number?”.
As the video went viral, many people wondered if this fan gave Riku her phone number or not. Noticing criticism toward the male idol arose, the fan deleted the video and released an explanation.
When asked, “Riku asked for your number? For real?”, the fan responded, “No… I was so shocked that I couldn’t say anything. You guys really think it was real? Come to your senses, everyone. The fan added that fans of other idols also made similar conversations just for fun.
Lastly, she said, “I deleted the video because I was afraid that it could cause damage to the member’s image. I apologize as I failed to predict such a thing would happen. It hurt my heart seeing the member get hated because of me”.
