In an interview with TenAsia on August 16th, A revealed that they are preparing materials for the complaint. The issues to be addressed include “Min Hee-jin‘s biased involvement in the HYBE RW (internal ethics standards) team investigation”, “workplace bullying by ADOR’s deputy director B” and “ADOR’s unauthorized salary reduction without legal basis”.
A also shared an update on their situation after exposing a sexual harassment incident within the company. According to A, HYBE reached out to them after their initial statement, apologizing for the previous investigation and acknowledging Min Hee-jin’s involvement, promising a fair reassessment.
A further mentioned that executive B contacted them and admitted, during a phone conversation, to making inappropriate comments related to the sexual harassment incident and colluding with Min Hee-jin to influence the RW team’s investigation results. B also apologized for the overall workplace harassment. A explained, “Although B didn’t explicitly say ‘I did it all’, the circumstances strongly suggest admission. The apology seemed to cover the overall workplace harassment, including the sexual harassment issue.”
The ongoing dispute between A and Min Hee-jin has lasted for nearly three weeks since last month. A alleges that Min Hee-jin not only intervened in the investigation of executive B, who was reported for sexual harassment and workplace bullying, but also verbally abused them with extremely offensive language. Min Hee-jin, however, maintains that these allegations are unfounded.
