KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman” broadcast on August 11th showed the first meeting between DinDin’s nephew Nicolo and Sleepy’s 106-day-old daughter Woo-ah.
On the program, DinDin said, “Sleepy and I have been friends for about 10 years. We’ve been through everything together, from failures to success, sadness, tears, happiness, and joy”, adding “I know everything about how he had Woo-ah, what happened during the pregnancy and Woo-ah’s entire life story. If it weren’t for me, Woo-ah would not exist”, boasting his extraordinary friendship with Sleepy.
Sleepy added, “I consider DinDin as an older brother, and I actually call him like that. From the first time we met, he paid for everything”, adding “Most importantly, he gave me such a big gift for my wedding, from a refrigerator… Because of that, he truly became an older brother to me”. In fact, the refrigerator, microwave, oven, speaker, and clothing care in Sleepy’s honeymoon house are all gifts from DinDin.
Later, Sleepy confessed, “To be honest, RM is the No.1. He sent me a very big gift”, revealing that BTS RM gave him 10 million won in cash gift.
Watching this scene in the studio, DinDin commented, “The reason RM is close to Sleepy is… When RM was active as an underground rapper, I heard they were making a group called BTS, so I asked Sleepy to introduce a good rapper. Sleepy introduced RM to me and he later became a member of BTS”.
He continued, “One day, RM suddenly sent a DM to Sleepy, saying ‘I heard you’re getting married. Send me your bank account number. Sleepy replied, ‘It’s okay, you don’t need to do it’, but still sent his account information to RM. Immediately, he received a notification that 10 million won had just been sent to his bank account”, drawing admiration.
