NewJeans’ Minji & Haerin Embroiled in Clubbing Accusations, but Netizens Defend Them
Rumors claiming that NewJeans’ Minji and Haerin went clubbing after a recent schedule have been spreading across the net.
Previously on August 6, a topic titled “That online forum is spreading clubbing rumors about Minji and Haerin” was published, drawing over 50,000 views as of writing.
In the topic, the author attached several screenshots of a post from the Korean community DC Inside. According to this post, a user accused NewJeans’ Minji and Haerin of going clubbing after Tottenham Hotspur‘s match against Bayern Munich.
However, netizens quickly defend the NewJeans members against this accusation, pointing out that Haerin is a minor, while Minji held a livestream right after her schedule.
Additionally, the DC Inside topic is a screenshot of a Twitter post, which included the photos, alongside the caption, “Wow this is unreal! I just saw Minji and Haerin. Haerin was pulling Minji outside, what’s going on? Haerin seemed really mad, did they fight?”
This original Twitter post, however, was not an accusation, but rather from a fanfiction account, which often publish made-up scenarios.
Therefore, it’s safe to say that the clubbing accusations against NewJeans’ Minji and Haerin are groundless, and antis were just trying to frame the female idols.
