Ryujin, a member of the group ITZY, addressed rumors of discord with her agency, JYP Entertainment.
On August 5, Ryujin clarified through her official account, stating, “I shared some funny memes because I wanted to laugh along with everyone, but it seems there was a misunderstanding that wasn’t my intention. I wanted to make it clear that it wasn’t meant that way.”
She added, “The weather has gotten very hot, so take care of yourselves. I’ll work hard to show you a great performance at our upcoming concert in Hong Kong.”
Previously, on August 4, Ryujin posted a series of intriguing photos without captions, which led to speculation among fans. One of the images depicted four human-like figures made from bottle caps, each holding a sharp toothpick.
Another photo featured four animal figurines alongside a sign that read, “We are professionals. We only move if you pay us.”
As ITZY is now in their sixth year, the timing and content of Ryujin’s post have caught the attention of many. Korean media outlets and netizens have begun to wonder about the current dynamics between the group and the company.
