Strict Rules are Applied for BLACKPINK’s 8th Anniversary Fansign?

BLACKPINK and YG have notified 88 lucky fans about the strict rules applied for the upcoming 8th anniversary fansign.

In about three days, BLACKPINK’s 8th-anniversary debut fansign will take place in Seoul, South Korea. This is a very special event for the BLINK (BLACKPINK’s fandom) community as it marks the first reunion of all four members since they left YG.

Moreover, the fansign is limited to 88 fans selected through a contest announced by YG. One lucky fan who won the opportunity to attend this fansign has shared the email sent by YG on his personal page, revealing the strict rules for BLACKPINK’s 8th-anniversary fansign.

In particular, according to the email from YG, all 88 fans must attend the fansign in person and cannot transfer their attendance rights to someone else. If these rules are violated and discovered by the organizers, the individual will be blacklisted and banned from future YG events.

Additionally, all of BLACKPINK’s signatures will be on separate sheets provided by the organizers, meaning the artists will not sign any personal items prepared by fans. YG also strictly prohibits activities such as taking selfies on stage, asking the audience to take photos with the artists, or livestreaming on social media platforms. If caught, fans will be required to delete any captured images or videos and will be immediately removed from the event.

Notably, in the final bolded section, YG stated that fans are not allowed to give gifts to the artists at the fansign, including handwritten letters. This rule surprised many fans, as previous BLACKPINK fansigns allowed fans to give gifts to the idols, or at least allow handwritten letters.
