According to the media site People, Angelina Jolie is taking care of her son in the hospital. A source revealed that Pax Thien is stable after a traffic accident on July 30. Initially, doctors suspected Pax Thien might have suffered a minor brain hemorrhage.

Residents near the accident scene told TMZ that the incident was so severe that they initially thought Pax Thien would not survive. Angelina Jolie’s son regained consciousness after an ambulance arrived at the scene.

“Pax Thien was riding a BMX bike and crashed into a car. He lay still, and I thought he wouldn’t make it,” the source said.

The source added that Pax Thien’s bike showed no signs of damage. However, his unconscious state worried many people. Several at the scene recognized Pax as a celebrity. TMZ reported that the accident happened not far from Angelina Jolie’s home.

According to the New York Post, law enforcement officials revealed that Pax Thien was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Initial investigations showed that Jolie’s son crashed into a car stopped at a red light. Pax Thien suffered injuries to his head and hip.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) told People that the accident occurred on Los Feliz Boulevard, Los Angeles, during heavy traffic. The LAPD described it as a “serious traffic collision.”

This is not the first time Pax Thien has had an accident while riding an electric bike. According to a source from the New York Post, Jolie’s son has been involved in multiple traffic incidents and rarely wears a helmet. “Friends are worried about Pax Thien’s recklessness,” the source said.

Page Six reported that Pax Thien ignores all advice from friends about wearing a helmet and staying safe on the road. “Pax is determined never to wear a helmet despite facing several dangerous traffic accidents,” the source added.

In the past two months, paparazzi have frequently captured Pax Thien riding a Talaria Sting R MX4 electric bike in Los Angeles. According to California state law, riders of Pax’s type of bike are required to wear a helmet.
