Stray Kids’s Changbin Accuses ITZY’s Chaeryeong Of Making His Image Bad Among JYP Trainees
Stray Kids’s Changbin revealed anecdotes with ITZY’s Chaeryeong during their trainee days and showed off their friendship
On July 30th, the YouTube channel “Merry Go Round” uploaded the new episode of “Full-belly Chaeryeong Hangs Out With A Friend”. Stray Kids member Changbin appeared as a guest and proved his brother & sister chemistry with ITZY’s Chaeryeong.
Chaeryeong asked how Changbin felt about appearing on her show. In response, Changbin said, “Not cast but didn’t you force me to come out?”. Chaeryeong thanked Changbin, saying “He said, ‘I’d come whenever I’m in Korea’.”
Chaeryeong and Chanbin are both JYP artists and they have a special relationship. Chaeryeong said, “There are a lot of people who are curious about how we became friends”, adding “Both of us moved now, but to say it comfortably, we lived in the same apartment building”.
Changbin emphasized, “It’s not that we lived together. We lived in the same apartment complex”, drawing laughter. The two were close enough to commute to work together during their trainee days. Chaeryeong added, “He would give me a lot of advice, too. I would cry so much in front of you”.
Chaeryeong said she didn’t know that Changbin would debut. Recalling the past, Chanbin said, “That story…She told me that to my face. ‘Two or three months?’, ‘You went long if you lasted three months?’, etc.”
Chaeryeong explained, “In this big land of Korea, and there are trainees who come from overseas. There are so many trainees, but did you ever imagine that there would be another JYP trainee that lives in the same apartment?”. Changbin agreed, “It’s kind of like a neighborhood brother. But I’m a senior after you debuted so it’s cool in your perspective”.
Later, Chaeryeong asked Changbin to tell a good story about her, but Changbin continued to expose his friend. He said, “First of all, when I first joined the company, you made my image very negative.” Chaeryeong burst into laughter and reacted, “No, that’s slander. That wasn’t me”.
Changbin said, “The reason my image started to decline among the trainees was because of you”, making everyone laugh hard. He then added, “Because you made my image like that, I was able to overcome it and develop into a better person. Even though you’re younger than me, thanks to you, I was able to change my character a lot”.
