BTS’s V Cheers For Athlete ARMY Shin Yu-bin At 2024 Olympics While In Military

On July 27th, BTS’s V uploaded on his SNS account a photo of his screen while watching the Olympics broadcast on KBS. The picture shows KBS introducing kimchi, hanbok and BTS as symbols of Korea during the entrance of South Korea Team at the 2024 Olympics.

In particular, V added ARMY (BTS’s fandom) to the caption on the screen, expressing his love for fans and emphasizing that BTS and fans are inseparable.

In addition, V said, “Yubin, table tennis fighting! South Korea fighting”. Shin Yu-bin, a member of South Korea’s national table tennis team, is known as a successful ARMY. Appearing on MBC’s program “Hangout with Yoo”, she once revealed that she was a fan of BTS. Shin Yu-bin added, “While on the bus heading back to the athletes’ village after finishing a game at the Olympics, I received a notification. As soon as I pressed it, I saw V posted my photo on his SNS. He wrote ‘Fighting’ on my picture. My hands kept shaking while on the bus”.

This time, V also cheered for Shin Yu-bin as the table tennis player is competing in the 2024 Olympics.

Thanks to her idol’s support, Shin Yu-bin advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Earlier on July 27th, Shin Yu-bin and Lim Jong-hoon met Nina Mittelham and Dang Qiu in the Round of 16 of Mixed Doubles held at Arena 4 in Paris, France, and won 4-0.

V is currently fulfilling his military service.
