Sandara Park “Members Put Solo Activities on Hold to Focus on 2NE1”
Singer Sandara Park shared her thoughts on returning with the group 2NE1
On July 26th, SBS PowerFM’s “Cultwo Show” featured comedian Gwak Beom as a special DJ, with Brian and Sandara Park appearing as guests.
Previously, on July 22nd, YG Entertainment’s producer Yang Hyun-suk officially announced the 2NE1 project, hinting at 2NE1’s Seoul concert and global tour.
Regarding this, Sandara Park expressed her feelings, “I have been waiting for this for a long time, and I am happy to finally talk proudly to our fans after 8 years.” She added, “I wanted to wait until everything was ready before announcing it. We started practicing this week and are rehearsing intensely.”
She also mentioned “We plan to continue the tour until the first half of next year. All the members have put their solo activities on hold to focus entirely on 2NE1“, raising expectations.
Meanwhile, 2NE1 will hold their first solo concert in 10 years and 6 months. The “2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL” will take place on October 5th and 6th at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul. Following the Seoul concert, 2NE1 plans to expand their global tour schedule, including stops in Kobe and Tokyo, Japan.
