Actress Jisoo Completes ‘Influenza’ Filming, Prepares for ‘Fan Meeting + World Tour’ with BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK's Jisoo has completed filming for 'Influenza,' marking another transformation into an actress, and is now preparing for full team activities
On the 22nd, Jisoo posted a photo on her social media with a wreath ribbon around her neck that read, “Beautiful Wonderful, Yeongju smells like grass.”
She added, “We wrapped up (crank-up). Everyone worked hard.” Jisoo finished filming for the Coupang Play original series ‘Influenza’ and has taken a break.
Currently, Jisoo has established her personal label BLISSOO with her older brother and has embarked on a full-fledged acting career. She made a special appearance in the movie ‘Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman: Secret of the Snowy Fields’ and completed filming for her first screen debut, ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.’ Additionally, she recently started filming for the Coupang Play original series ‘Influenza,’ keeping her busy. Of course, she has also been appearing at various overseas events as a luxury brand ambassador.
However, she is now joining full team activities. Celebrating their 8th debut anniversary this year, BLACKPINK will hold a fan signing event.
On the 9th, BLACKPINK announced through their fan communication community Weverse, “We will select 88 people who best express their love for BLACKPINK through photos or stories with memories of BLACKPINK and invite them to a fan signing event.”
A film featuring the live performances of BLACKPINK’s 8th anniversary world tour concert will also be screened in special CGV theaters nationwide and in over 100 countries worldwide on the 31st. The movie vividly captures BLACKPINK’s final stage of their ‘Born Pink’ world tour, which took place at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome last September, along with the members’ powerful performances.
Additionally, Yang Hyun-suk, YG Entertainment’s chief producer, stated in a video posted on YG’s official blog on the 22nd that “BLACKPINK will go on a world tour as a full group next year,” indicating that Jisoo will be focusing more on her primary role as a singer rather than an actress.
