BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Hits 1 Billion Streams with Solo Album

BLACKPINK member Jisoo's solo album has surpassed 1 billion streams.

Recently, Jisoo’s debut single album “ME” achieved 1 billion streams on the global music platform YouTube Music. As of July 21, the title track “FLOWER” has reached 950.2 million views, while the B-side track “ALL EYES ON ME” has garnered 48 million views.

Jisoo continues to break records with “ME.” Within a week of its release, she sold 1,172,351 copies, becoming the first K-pop female solo artist to achieve “Million Seller” status. The music video for “FLOWER” reached 500 million views 409 days after its release.

Amid recent controversies involving BLACKPINK members Jennie and Lisa, such as indoor e-cigarette use and accusations of music video plagiarism, Jisoo’s record-breaking achievements are a welcome boost for fans.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK members announced that, starting from December of last year, they would continue their group activities with YG Entertainment while pursuing individual activities separately. As a result, Jisoo established her own label, Blisoo, Jennie set up OA (Odd Atelier) Entertainment, and Lisa founded Loud Company, while Rosé joined The Black Label.
