Song Ji-hyo formed “Song Kang Siblings” duo with Kang Hoon and proved her power as an older sister

The new broadcast of SBS’s “Running Man” on July 21st will be carried out under the theme “2024 Burning Runningpic” with a mission requiring the members to protect the torch in the rain.

The recent recording of “Running Man” conducted 2024 Burning Runningpic in which the members have to light the torch, the symbol of Runningpic, and protect it until the end of the race. However, the event faced heavy rain and the members had to protect the torch in the rain using their own skills under a thin tent. Coming up with many DIY methods, the members showed their dedication to keeping the fire alive.

Yoo Jae-suk’s team focused on adding oxygen after putting in all the basic firewood, while Kim Jong-kook’s team prepared the fire and split the firewood to burn it. Fans are looking forward to seeing which team would successfully light their torch first.

The two teams struggled to protect the torch even when completing their missions. Song Ji-hyo and Kang Hoon even formed ‘Song Kang Siblings’ duo to save the torch. In particular, Song Ji-hyo showed off her power as an older sister and skills by taking up an axe and challenging chopping firewood. Appearing as Song Ji-hyo’s assistant, Kang Hoon guarded in front of the torch and acted as a fan to make the fire ignite. Seeing that, Song Ji-hyo exclaimed, “Kang Hoon and I have switched roles!”, expressing her frustration in a pleasant way and proving their sibling chemistry.
