On April 6th, the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards Handprinting held earlier aired on Sports Chosun’s YouTube, All that STAR (Sports Chosun’s Entertainment YouTube), and Sports Chosun’s Naver TV.
The event featured the attendance of the 2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards (2023) winners including Song Hye-kyo, Ha Jung-woo, Suzy, Lim Ji-yeon, Park Ji-hoon, Shin Ye-eun, Yoo Jae-suk, Joo Hyun-young, Dex and Kim Ah-young.
Among them, Song Hye-kyo, who impressed everyone with her touching speech with a self-praise “You did well, Hye-kyo ah”, shared, “I never praised myself before”. Recalling the memory of when she won Daesang, Song Hye-kyo said, “I think I was too harsh on myself because I always remember things I didn’t do well after finishing a project. Therefore, I thought I should give myself a compliment at that moment”. When Park Kyung-rim said, “I think you haven’t been able to let go of ‘The Glory’ in your heart”, Song Hye-kyo responded, “I recently completed filming ‘The Black Nuns’. I already said goodbye to Dong-eun. I’m still immersed in my new character”.
At the event, someone asked Song Hye-kyo, “From Lim Ji-yeon to Han So-hee, Ahn Eun-jin and Jeon So-nee, many younger actresses have become fans of Song Hye-kyo. What do you think the reason is?”. In response, Song Hye-kyo said, “I guess it is because I’ve been doing this job for a long time”, drawing laughter with her humble yet witty answer.
When asked, “Are you a fan of Song Hye-kyo”, Suzy, who recently released photos taken with Song Hye-kyo, said, “That’s right. She’s very easygoing and affectionate. She’s a great senior who gives me a lot of advice so I also rely on her so much.”
Regarding her upcoming drama “Everything Will Come True”, Suzy shared, “Writer Kim Eun-sook and director Lee Byeong-hoon worked together to create this drama so I think you can really look forward to the harmonious teamwork of the two. Also, my character will be very different from the roles I’ve played so far, so I hope you give attention and support to it”, raising fans’ expectations.
