Kim Woo-bin Becomes Owner Of Big Hit Music’s Old Office Building

Actor Kim Woo-bin recently purchased a building in Nonhyeon-dong known as the old office of BTS’s agency Big Hit Music

According to Baek Seung-cheol from BSN Real Estate Group on June 25th, Kim Woo-bin signed a contract on March 29th to purchase a building located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, which was previously used by BTS’s agency Big Hit Music. The price of this building is about 13.7 billion won.

Given that Shinhan Bank set a maximum bond of 7.44 billion won (typically 120% of the loan amount) as a collateral mortgage on this property at the time of the purchase, a secured loan of 6.2 billion won is estimated to have been obtained. The building was purchased with 7.5 billion won in cash.

This five-story building with two basements is considered a meaningful place for ARMYs (BTS’s fandom). It is because BTS members shed blood, sweat, and tears in the practice room located in this building before becoming world-class singers.

Big Hit Music had been using the building as their office since 2007 before expanding the company and moving the office to Seoul Building nearby in 2011. Later, they moved to the current headquarters in Yongsan in 2020 and changed the company’s name to HYBE.

In addition to this building, Kim Woo-bin also owns a detached house in Seongbuk-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.

Meanwhile, Kim Woo-bin chose writer Kim Eun-seok’s new work “Everything Will Come True”, working alongside Suzy.
