Netizens Criticized Girl Group’s Agency For Making Them React To Their Sexualized Music Video

The agency of girl group cignature is being heavily criticized by netizens.

On June 10, the MV for cignature’s new song “Poongdung” was released on its official YouTube channel. This is a summer-themed song with upbeat music and cute lyrics. However, some scenes in the music video which filmed the members from the bottom view or wearing revealing outfits have gathered attention, which led to its agency, C9 Entertainment, being criticized for sexualizing the group.

On June 15, a video of the members’ reactions to the music video was posted on the group’s official channel, which added fuel to the flames.

Netizens are furious at the agency as they witness the members shocked at the controversial scenes. For example, member Chaesol looked confused and astonished, which was different from her excitement at the beginning of the video.

Many fans are calling out C9 and ask the company for better treatment for cignature.
