(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon Takes Break from Activities Due to Health Concerns
(G)I-DLE's Soyeon will be pausing her activities to focus on health recovery.
On June 1st, Cube Entertainment announced Soyeon’s absence from schedules through the official fan community Weverse.
The agency stated, “Soyeon recently visited the hospital due to health issues and received medical advice that sufficient rest and stability are necessary.”
Consequently, Soyeon will not attend the YIZHIYU & (G)I-DLE offline fan signing event and special fan event scheduled for the day. The agency said, “Although the artist expressed willingness to participate, she will be absent due to failure to recover her condition.”
Furthermore, they added, “In consideration of the artist’s health, we have decided to temporarily suspend all schedules to allow the artist to focus on rest and treatment. We ask for fans’ understanding as this decision prioritizes the artist’s health.”
Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE released their second full-length album in January and promoted the title track ‘Super Lady.’
