Jang Yoon-joo Explains Her Remark To Kim Soo-hyun 15 Years Ago, “If You Shoot With Me, You’ll Become A Star”

tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” broadcast on May 29th featured the guest appearance of top model and “Chungmuro’s treasure” Jang Yoon-joo.

On the broadcast, Yoo Jae-suk asked, “Yoon Joo used to be a clothing model with Kim Soo-hyun 15 years ago and I heard you said this to him, ‘If you shoot with me, you’ll become a star”. Upon hearing that, Jang Yoon-joo got embarrassed. 

Yoo Jae-suk added, “Back then, both Kang Dong-won and Jo In-sung became big stars, and she just said the same thing to Kim Soo-hyun”. In response, Jang Yoon-joo said, “I was active as a model for a very long time”, adding “When I did the shoot with Soo-hyun, ‘Who is the male model this time?’, and they told me that it was him. And I simply reacted, ‘Oh really?’”, making Yoo Jae-suk burst into laughter.

In addition, Jang Yoon-joo said, “During the shoot, I realized that his energy was so good. Even now, he’s always like that on the set. So I told Kim Soo-hyun, ‘If you complete the shoot with me you’ll be famous. You’ll become a star’. He was like, ‘Oh really?’. Later, he really became a big star after starring in ‘Dream High’ and ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’”.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” is a program in which Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho meet various people and hear stories about their lives.
