On May 26th, Crush shared his thoughts along with photos of his performance at Yonsei University’s Akaraka festival on his Instagram.
He said, “I was happy with ‘Akaraka’ for two days. The rain was so heavy that it reminded me of eight years ago.”
In the photos, Crush is performing undeterred despite the pouring rain. His hair, drenched with rainwater, particularly stood out.
Previously, Crush reenacted the ‘Four Major Downpours in the Music Industry’ meme during his performance in a downpour on KBS1’s ‘Open Concert’ aired in November 2016.
At that time, Crush was singing ‘Sometimes’ when he unexpectedly encountered heavy rain. He couldn’t open his eyes properly due to the rain streaming down his face and burst into laughter while singing.
Notably, the situation became even more comically poignant when his lyrics like ‘Why do tears keep falling today,’ and ‘It’s especially cold tonight’ matched the situation of wiping rain off his face.
During this ‘Akaraka’ performance, as the rain poured down, it reminded people of Crush’s legendary meme.
