On May 24th, Park Ha-sun posted on her SNS account, saying “It has finally been confirmed that malicious commenters would be fined”, adding “When I was still single, I considered this as attention, love and the price I had to pay. However, as my child has grown older, I couldn’t let it go like that”.
She continued, “If I don’t do this, people around me will believe in false information and malicious comments will continue to spread on YouTube”, adding “Thanks to this, I feel much relieved now”.
Park Ha-sun added, “Severe malicious comments, posts, Instagram and YouTube content normally take more than a year to sue because identifying them is not easy, or the cases may end without updates even after completing payments. However, my lawyer has been handling this case for 3 years from the beginning. There’s a lawyer who doesn’t give up, just like those I saw in dramas”.
Back in 2022, Park Ha-sun’s agency announced, “We will strongly take all possible legal actions against serious defamation acts that damage Park Ha-sun’s reputation and personality, including spreading false information, personal attacks, and comments in abusive language”, emphasizing that there would be no leniency or agreement.
Meanwhile, Park Ha-sun married actor Ryu Soo-young in 2017, and the couple has one daughter.
