MBC’s “Hangout With Yoo” broadcast on May 25th featured the guest appearance of SHINee, who appeared on entertainment programs together to celebrate their 16th debut anniversary.
That day, Yoo Jae-suk said, “Taemin said SHINee would get friendship rings on an SNS live broadcast”. In response, Taemin said, “Looking at other teams, we realized that they have a lot of friendship items. So we also felt like having one for ourselves”.
Key added, “Actually, it was my idea. I even decided on the brand and we agreed to get five rings with one for Jonghyun. But this kid (Taemin) turned on a live broadcast and talked about our friendship rings right away”, drawing laughter.
Suddenly becoming an “idea stealer”, Taemin explained, “I just brought up the story while doing an interview for a magazine”, adding “To be honest, I didn’t mean to do it. Anyway, I’m sorry”.
Minho complained, “These kinds of plans always make me tired. We talk about it but no one is pushing ahead with the plan. I end up telling weird jokes and get tired”.
Key shared, “Onew said he would pay for it, so I suddenly feel like I’ve become a weird person”. Minho added, “It’s easier to live separately”, showing off their strong bond and chemistry.
When Yoo Jae-suk asked, “Do you think you’ll wear the friendship rings often?”, Onew said, “I’ll wear it all the time”. However, Taemin replied, “I think I’ll lose it”, and Key added, “Only when I go outside”.
