Byeon Woo-seok, love letter to Kim Hye-yoon “Contact me anytime, I’ll buy you something delicious” (You Quiz)
On tvN's variety show "You Quiz on the Block" (hereafter referred to as "You Quiz"), actor Byeon Woo-seok expressed his gratitude to Kim Hye-yoon
In the episode aired on May 22nd, Byeon Woo-seok, who is currently enjoying syndrome-level popularity with tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Lovely Runner”, appeared as a guest.
Byeon Woo-seok conveyed his heartfelt thanks to his co-star Kim Hye-yoon. He said, “Without (Kim) Hye-yoon, I wouldn’t have been able to portray Sun-jae’s emotions as well as I did.“
He added, “The emotions (Kim Hye-yoon) conveyed on set felt genuine, which helped me express myself better.“
Byeon Woo-seok also shared, “As we continued filming, I noticed my energy levels dropping, and people called me a ‘weakling’. Hye-yoon saw this and would bring me snacks and jellies every day.”
He even sent a video message to Kim Hye-yoon, saying, “Hye-yoon, I learned a lot from you, especially from your attitude on set and the energy you gave me. Thanks to you, I was able to portray Sun-jae well. If you ever want to eat something delicious, just let me know. I’ll treat you anytime. Thank you so much.”
Meanwhile, “Lovely Runner” follows Ryu Sun-jae (Byeon Woo-seok), a famous idol who passed away under suspicious circumstances, purportedly by suicide, and Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon), a fervent fan thrown into a serious crisis by his death. The latter is inadvertently given the chance to go back to the past to save Sun-jae and herself.
