2NE1, which debuted under YG Entertainment in 2009, is a four-member girl group consisting of CL, Sandara Park, Park Bom, and Gong Minzy. They were known for their strong personality and swept the Korean and overseas music market upon their debut. Their music and performances, which were beyond the typical girl group of those days, were still talked about among many K-pop fans. Starting with their debut song “Fire,” they made a number of hits including “I Don’t Care,” “Go Away,” “Lonely,” “I’m the Best,” “Hate You,” and “Ugly.”

The members of 2NE1 recently released a group photo to celebrate their 15th anniversary. Along with the photo, leader CL wrote, “Hello BLACKJACK and GZB. It’s been a long time. Today, May 17, celebrating our 15th birthday, we stood in front of the camera as 2NE1 after a long time because we wanted to remember all the people who loved and supported us, laughed and cried together with us.”

“It’s a day where I can feel the deep-rooted beauty of things that change and grow together over time, not to mention the mystery of things that remain unchanged over time. Thank you always and let’s play,” she said, expressing her affection for their fans.
