Lying Down on Stage after Dancing, Male Idol Left Behind by Group Members in Hilarious Moment

A funny moment once again happened for SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu.

Recently, SEVENTEEN wrapped up their promotion for the title track “Maestro” from their latest album “17 Is Right Here”, with their goodbye stage on Inkigayo. Over more than two weeks of promotions, “Maestro” earned four music show wins. The million-selling boy group also extended their sales record, selling nearly 3 million copies in the first week, and charting No.5 on Billboard 200.

SEVENTEEN’s popularity has grown with each comeback, thanks to their hard work. Recently, SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu went viral online thanks to his striking visuals and muscular physique.

In particular, a moment of Mingyu lying down on the stage floor right after finishing a performance has been making waves. During the goodbye stage for “Maestro” on Inkigayo, Mingyu used up 200% of his energy for the performance.

Right after the performance ended, Mingyu collapsed on the floor from exhaustion. Indeed, SEVENTEEN’s choreography is always among the hardest and most complex. 13 members constantly push themselves, increasing the difficulty with each comeback. “Maestro” has a physically demanding dance from the start, with the dance break requiring highly complex footwork.

After greeting the audience, all 12 members went backstage without waiting for Mingyu, leaving him lying alone on stage. Realizing he had been left behind, Mingyu’s expression was a mix of embarrassment and humor as he quickly exited the stage.

This moment shared among SEVENTEEN’s fans left them unsure whether to feel sorry or to laugh. It’s always Mingyu—the victim of every SEVENTEEN prank. To non-fans, Mingyu is the ultimate heartthrob. But to the group’s fans, Mingyu being teased is all too familiar. He also embraces it, never getting upset. Mingyu’s good-natured, slightly goofy personality is entirely opposite to his cool and sexy stage persona.
