Hook Entertainment reportedly changed the purpose of the claim prior to the argument. The original point of the claim was that they would not pay Lee Seung Gi any money, but the change was made to the effect that Lee Seung Gi should pay back 900 million won in the settlement of overpaid advertising fees.

On the other hand, Lee Seung Gi’s side refuted, “Hook Entertainment has been paying 10% less from advertising revenue while hiding the fact that the advertising agency commission rate has been lowered from 10% to 7%. Hook Entertainment should pay more for advertising activities.”
Lee Seung Gi’s side is in the position to receive 3 billion won from Hook Entertainment, including advertising agency fees and revenue from songs and albums.
The court decided to hold the next pleading date on August 25th for the collection of data related to the settlement amount and the confirmation of the witness examination plan.
