2023 Baeksang “dress battle”, best Song Hye Kyo vs worst Park Eun Bin?

Suzy stood on the red carpet in a black dress with impressive fancy decorations, fitting for her role as the MC of Baeksang Arts Awards. Nevertheless, her dress boasts a rich design with flower decorations, creating an “excessive” atmosphere, as if feathers were attached in all directions. It’s somewhat disappointing that her “dark” look seems to create a goth atmosphere among the other actresses’ colorful fashions.

Questionable – Tang Wei

Tang Wei used to sweep the red carpet with her unapproachable visuals, but her latest dress fell below expectation. In fact, her Baeksang gown integrates peculiar details as if combining spacesuits, evoking a sense of absurdity beyond regret. The dress’ color scheme fails to highlight Tang Wei’s beauty, and even creates an “optical illusion” that makes the actress’ torso look longer and her legs shorter. At the same time, the addition of pearl accessories and even the material of the dress raise eyebrows.

Awkward – Park Eun Bin

Wearing a too-large dress compared to her petite frame, Park Eun Bin feels awkward in her red carpet dress. The dress, which combines chiffon and embroidery decorations, gives off a sense of clumsiness rather than splendor, diminishing Park Eun Bin’s innocence and sweet visuals. The excessively abundant details added to the dress create an unavoidably rich feeling. Park Eun Bin could have shined much brighter if she had shown off her visuals with a simple dress that reveals her silhouette, rather than an awkward splendor.
