The Boyz Reports Sasaeng Fans’ Intrusion and Privacy Violation to Police 

The Boyz’s agency, plans to take strict legal action against sasaeng fans, emphasizing protection of the artist’s privacy.

On April 4th, IST Entertainment, The Boyz’s agency, announced through their official fan cafe, “Despite the privacy invasion notice in February, our artists are suffering serious mental and material damage due to unauthorized visits to the company, shops, accommodations, and other places related to the artist’s daily life.”

The company also informed that behaviors such as loud cheering in front of the company, interfering with filming and traffic, attempting unauthorized intrusion into artist accommodations and parking lots, and recklessly following the moving vehicle, are being reported to the police with collected footage from dash cams and closed-circuit (CC) TVs.

“We handed over a case of such behavior early this morning to the on-site police“, IST Entertainment added, emphasizing, “If such privacy invasion continues to occur after this notice, we plan to take strict legal action without leniency to prevent additional damage and protect the artist’s privacy.”

Previously, The Boyz has already requested to refrain from writing false information, continuing slander, and invasion of privacy. At the time, the boy group’s side said, “We are aware that acts violating the artist’s rights are crossing the line. In relation to this, we are continuously collecting evidence and reviewing legal matters with a law firm.”

Meanwhile, The Boyz released their 8th mini-album “BE AWAKE” in February 2023. Afterwards, the boy group achieved a remarkable feat by entering the top rankings of four Billboard charts, according to updates as of March 11th.

At the time, the new album entered the top 10, starting at 6th place in the “World Albums” chart, 7th place in the “Heatseekers Albums” chart, and 4th place in the “Emerging Artists” chart. In addition, the boy group also confirmed impressive results by ranking 11th in the “Top Album Sales” chart.
